help out The Park Church Co-Op! (with a donation)

As you may know, The Park Church Co-Op in Greenpoint sometimes hosts concerts and it’s a truly gorgeous space to see live music in. We shot a video session with Julie Byrne there, and we’ve also seen very special shows from Sannhet, Big Thief, Aldous Harding, Nadia Reid and others at the church.

In order to keep hosting concerts, events, and providing other services (like after-school programs for kids), the church needs your help. They’re looking to raise $50,000, and you can help them with a one-time or monthly tax deductible donation. Here’s more:

Hello!

If you’re reading this it’s because you care about the Greenpoint community. At the Park Church Co-op we make caring for our neighbors a priority; to do this we need support from you. Through small donations from people like you, we are hoping to raise $50,000 to ensure that we can continue our work.

Each of you may know the Park Church Co-op for different reasons. Either you’ve played or attended a show here, your child takes classes here or you’ve attended our weekly Sunday service. You may or may not know that we host after-school programs like Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, provide affordable education through The Cottonwood Preschool, work with Breaking Ground to give shelter to the homeless, provide space for the farmers market and CSA, host internationally known performers like Weyes Blood and Pavo Pavo, and provide temporary space for the Brooklyn Public Library collection.

Our work is made possible through grant funding and the financial gifts of people who believe what we do matters. If you want to see the church keep its doors open and remain a place for the community, we ask you to consider what financial gift is within your budget. A monthly contribution builds our membership and shows the larger grant funders that we have the dedicated support of our community. Giving $20/month is just 60 cents per day, less than your daily cup of coffee, but the impact for us is immense. Even a one time donation of $500, $250 or $25 helps show your commitment. You can find the link to donate your contribution via Paypal. Click “Make this a Monthly Donation” to make your contribution recurring: http://www.parkchurchcoop.org/

Donations are tax deductible. We thank you for your time and your support to help us serve the community for many years to come. You can also help by sharing this email with others you know, who value the work of The Park Church Co-op.

Gratefully,

Rev. Amy Kienzle
