
Hey Mercedes expand tour, add TWIABP, Prawn, Velvet Teen & more openers

One of Braid frontman Bob Nanna's many bands, Hey Mercedes, recently announced a reunion tour and 15th anniversary reissue of Everynight Fire Works, and now more dates have been added and openers have been announced. The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Prawn, The Velvet Teen and more will provide support on select dates, including some with both Prawn and TWIABP.
The previously-announced NYC show happening July 13 at Bowery Ballroom (tickets) is with Prawn, and Hey Mercedes also added a smaller Brooklyn show happening July 16 at Market Hotel Baby's All Right with Prawn. Tickets for the newly-added show go on sale Friday (5/6) at 10 AM with a BrooklynVegan presale starting Wednesday (5/4) at 10 AM. Check back here Wednesday morning for the password.

Prawn is also hitting the road with Tiny Moving Parts and Free Throw, including NYC on June 2 at The Studio at Webster Hall.
