Hinds and Public Access TV's tour hit NYC on Tuesday night (10/27). The bands made it clear they are big fans of each other and were dancing in the crowd during the other's respective sets. It was a dancing crowd in general, especially for Hinds singles "Chili Town" and "Bamboo." I went downstairs for a second after their main set ended to return to see a large chunk of the crowd on stage and going crazy for the encore cover of Thee Headcoatees' "Davey Crocket." Music Hall was probably a little big for this show -- it was full but not sold out (with their debut LP not out till January, they could use another year of playing smaller venues probably) -- but Hinds were clearly having a blast and it was an undeniably fun show. Pictures from the whole night continue below.
In other news, Public Access TV will play the East Village's Elvis Guesthouse on Halloween (10/31). Tickets are on sale.
