As you may know, Holly Miranda has been working on new material, and is currently recording her new solo album in Joshua Tree and in Brooklyn. Before that, though, she's got two new singles coming out next week via Federal Prism, the label run by Dave Sitek (who produced her 2010 album, The Magician's Private Library) that is also putting out singles by TVOTR and Holly's band with Scarlett Johannsen. We've got the premiere of one of those, "Desert Call," in this post and you can stream it below.

Holly will be testing out new material on the road, as she's going out on tour with Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning, including two shows in NYC:  October 24 at Mercury Lounge (tickets) and October 29 at Knitting Factory (tickets).
