Austin's Holy Wave will release new album Interloper on July 3 via Reverberation Appreciation Society. (It was originally due out in May but like a lot of albums, it got pushed due to COVID-19.) The band's hypnotic brand of psych, set to driving motorik rhythms and fractal guitar patterns is in fine, intense form on the driving new single "Hell Bastards" which doesn't doesn't let its foot off the gas. We've got the premiere of its music video, which they filmed in quarantine and finds them going a little stir crazy in a Shining sort of way. Or maybe that's just all the strobes.
