Homeshake prep 'Fresh Air' (listen to "Call Me"), touring, playing NYC this weekend
Homeshake may be best known as “that other band Mac DeMarco used to be in” but have been making a name for themselves since his departure. For the band’s forthcoming album, Fresh Air, frontman Peter Sagar, who is Homeshake for all intents and purposes, offers up a mix of bedroom R&B (in both the “sexy” and “DIY” meanings of “bedroom”) with a little of the underwater pop his old bandmate favors. The record is out February 3 via Sinderlyn and you can stream “Call Me” right now:
Homeshake begin a North American tour this week, hitting NYC on Saturday (11/26) at Baby’s All Right for two shows — the early show is sold out but the 11 PM show still has tickets. All dates are listed below.
