Homewrecker frontman Matt Barnum was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women -- some of them underage at the time -- and the band's drummer Matt Izzi was accused of inappropriate behavior as well. The band has not yet responded, but they have been dropped by their label Good Fight Music, who write:

It has come to our attention that multiple women have accused Matt Barnum of Homewrecker of sexual misconduct while underage over the last number of years.

Good Fight Music is no longer associated Homewrecker effective immediately. We will never tolerate, condone, or stay silent about sexual aggression on our roster, especially towards minors. BELIEVE WOMEN.

As Lambgoat reports, Barnum was first accused by a woman named Riley of soliciting nudes from her when she was 16 and he was 24 - "which is nothing compared to what he did to other girls in our local scene," she wrote. "I know for a FACT that he did worse things to YOUNGER girls than me in our community at the time."

Following Riley's tweets, the Instagram account @survivingmattbarnum was created and has posted screenshots of stories of several women accusing Barnum of assault and misconduct, including allegations of sex with underage girls. It was on that Instagram account where the story accusing Matt Izzi of inappropriate behavior was posted as well. You can view those posts here.

Bo Lueders, guitarist of Harms Way, who have toured with Homewrecker multiple times, tweeted, "I’ve been in a bit of shock. I know I should say something because I considered him a brother and really never thought he’d be capable of what’s coming out, but I am sincerely so disappointed and furious over barnum’s behavior that I can’t think of anything articulate. I have immense guilt over bringing someone like that with us all over the world for a few years, no doubt enabling that abuse. I can speak for everyone in my band and say that we are fucking sick to our stomachs. It’s not ok and it’s not being ignored."

UPDATE: Homewrecker revealed that they kicked out Matt Barnum in a statement written by Matt Izzi. However, more severe allegations against Izzi have also been made.

UPDATE 2: All remaining Homewrecker members except Izzi have left the band.

Code Orange, for whom Barnum worked as a crew member, also issued a statement.

This story may still be developing.
