Philadelphia death metal trio Horrendous, who released one of the best metal albums of 2015 with Anareta, have announced an NYC show at Saint Vitus on January 22. Support will be provided by Hercyn, Grudges and Sentence, and tickets are on sale now.

Horrendous don't play many live shows, so this is a pretty exciting occurrence for NYC metalheads. Other than this they only currently have the big Decibel Mag's Choosing Death Fest , and an opening slot on the Baltimore date of the 1349/Tombs/Full Of Hell tour coming up.

All dates are listed, along with a stream of Anareta, below.

Horrendous -- 2016 Dates
1/17 Ottobar, Baltimore, MD w/1349, Tombs, Full of Hell
1/22 Saint Vitus, Brooklyn, NY
4/16 Union Transfer, Philadelphia, PA w/Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Noisem, Nails, Magrudergrind, Deceased, Taphos Nomos
