The night may be dark and full of terrors, but The Slipper Room was hot and full of pasties on Thursday (4/11) night when Hotsy Totsy Burlesque brought a little taste of the Seven Kingdoms to the Lower East Side, paying tribute to Game of Thrones with “Game of Tassels” burlesque. Cherry Pitz and Handsome Brad hosted the affair, which happened days before the season eight premiere, and performers Candy Apples, Dahlia Dolorosa, Le Grand Chaton, Luna Lee, Miranda Raven, Rosie Cheeks and Venatrix brought Daenerys Targaryen, Margaery Tyrell, Cersei Lannister, Melisandre (and her murderous smoke-baby!), Yara Greyjoy, Arya Stark, Shae, Jon Snow, and even Littlefinger and Ramsay Bolton to the stage. Hotsy Totsy put on monthly burlesque shows, and coming up they pay tribute to superheroes (May 9 at Slipper Room, tickets) and Star Wars (June 13 at Slipper Room, tickets).
