Unsane is seemingly no more, but frontman Chris Spencer is now staying busy with his new band Human Impact -- which also features Jim Coleman (Cop Shoot Cop), Phil Puleo (Cop Shoot Cop, Swans), and Chris Provdica (Swans) -- and today they've revealed more details about their debut album and released the first single. The self-titled album drops March 13 via Ipecac (pre-order), and the first single is "November." Spencer and Colemaan co-produced the album, and Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Swans, Unsane, etc) recorded most of it, with additional recording and mixing by Alan Camlet. If you miss Unsane, "November" should do a good job of scratching the itch. It's cut from the same '90s post-hardcore/noise rock itch, and it's a little psychedelic too.
