I Am the Avalanche & Nightmare of You playing shows together
When The Movielife broke up, singer Vinnie Caruana formed the grunge/punk band I Am the Avalanche and guitarist Brandon Reilly formed the Smiths-y Nightmare of You. The two bands played together back in the day, and they’ll do so again this March in Asbury Park, Cambridge, and NYC. No additional openers, and both bands are playing full sets.
The Asbury Park show happens March 22 at House of Independents, the Cambridge show happens March 24 at Middle East, and the NYC show happens March 25 at Gramercy Theatre. Tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday (1/26) at noon with various presales starting beforehand.
After that tour, Vinnie and Brandon will take The Movielife — who are reunited and released their first album in 14 years last year — on tour with New Found Glory, Bayside and Yellowcard vocalist William Ryan Key. That tour hits Asbury Park on May 27 at Stone Pony Summer Stage and NYC on May 29 at Playstation Theater (tickets). All dates are listed below.
