If These Trees Could Talk - The Bones of a Dying World

If These Trees Could Talk released an LP on Metal Blade, touring with Driftoff & Alexander Turnquist

Ohio post-rock outfit If These Trees Could Talk have been doing their thing for about a decade, and they’ve recently signed with the heavyweights at Metal Blade. While the music isn’t strictly metal, it’s got a kind of always-moving, pulsing, seething quality that a lot of post-rock lacks in its stargazing, fitting in more with Pelican and Russian Circles than Explosions in the Sky. They’ve recently dropped that Metal Blade album, which is called The Bones of a Dying World.

If These Trees Could Talk have also announced a tour, starting with a few hometown shows in July before becoming a full-fledged run in August, with quality support at some dates from Driftoff and Alexander Turnquist. Those three will be in NYC for a show at Saint Vitus on August 6. Tickets for that are on sale now.
