Iggy Pop, who will soon release Post Pop Depression, is one of the artists featured on this week's Vinyl soundtrack, contributing a cover of the Nervous Breakdowns's garage rock nugget "I Dig Your Mind" to this Sunday's episode. It's a fun, scuzzy version of the song, and you can stream it below.

Elsewhere in Vinyl-land, Julian Casablancas, who covered Velvet Underground's "Run Run Run" for an earlier episode of Vinyl, has contributed another Velvet Underground cover to the show, offering up a faithful rendition of "White Light/White Heat" this week. Stream them both, and listen to this week's mini-soundtrack that also features The Kills' Alison Mosshart covering The Punks' "My Time's Coming" and The Arcs covering Bobby Parks' "Watch Your Step," below.

Last week's episode (3/6) featured Brooklyn's Rough Trade as a Sam Goody store. Are you watching and if so what do you think so far? BV editors talked about the show on the current episode of our Spotify "In Residence" show.
