Inquisition no longer playing Maryland Deathfest (and other lineup updates)

This past Friday, controversial black metal band Inquisition were dropped by Season of Mist after MetalSucks ran an article that brought to light a 2009 court case where frontman Jason “Dagon” Weirbach pleaded guilty to child pornography charges (Dagon since denied that he ever pleaded guilty). Now, they were also removed from the Maryland Deathfest lineup.

UPDATE: Inquisition were also dropped from the Satyricon tour.

MDF revealed the news along with the announcement that Zemial, Chthe’ilist and Blk Ops also had to drop off, and were replaced by Bolzer, Ascended Dead and Future Terror. They say Inquistion’s replacement “will be determined shortly.”

Also, The Ruins of Beverast moved their set from Saturday to Sunday, “due to scheduling conflicts.”
