HBO's Insecure returned last night (4/12) for its season 4 premiere, "Lowkey Feelin' Myself," and as always, the episode was full of good music, including some new songs that premiered right around the time of the episode, some of which are part of the show's official soundtrack. The episode opened with "A BOY IS A GUN" from Tyler, the Creator's great 2019 album IGOR and included a song off the new Thundercat album, and the new songs included Yung Baby Tate's "Never Lonely" (ft. Jozzy), Cautious Clay's "Reaching" (ft. Alex Isley), St. Panther's "Infrastructure," TeaMarrr's "Cool Enough," and Pink Sweat$' "Ride With Me." You can hear all five below.

Star and co-creator Issa Rae told Hypebeast:

I absolutely love working on the music for Insecure and this season is no different. Not only did we continue to select songs that elevate our storytelling, but we also had artists and songwriters create original music for the season. The soundtrack is the perfect mix of some of my favorite songs from the season and I’m excited to share it with fans of the show.

Cautious Clay also commented on his song being in the show, saying, "I’m excited to hear 'Reaching' featured in [the season premiere]. Hearing 'Cold War' in last season’s premiere was surreal, and all the music chosen throughout the show is on-point. So much love for Issa and [music supervisor] Kier [Lehman] for having incredible taste." Yung Baby Tate and St. Panther (who, along with Cautious Clay, are on the show's official soundtrack) also gave quotes to Hypebeast and you can read more here.

Issa also celebrated the premiere with a virtual block party on Instagram Live last night, with a DJ set from Zaytoven and a surprise performance by Jidenna. You can still see a bit of Jidenna's performance in the @insecurehbo IG stories and you can watch Issa chat with some of her co-stars in the archived IG live video on her account.

Insecure: Music From The HBO Original Series, Season 4 comes out later this year via Atlantic. Issa also launched her own Atlantic imprint last year (which TeaMarr is signed to).

If you missed it last night, you can watch "Lowkey Feelin' Myself" on HBO now. Episode 2, "Lowkey Distant," premieres this Sunday (4/19) at 10 PM ET.
