Insecure Men (Saul of Fat White Family) share debut track, playing Baby's this week

Insecure Men, “the lonesome sound of Saul Adamczewski [Fat White Family] and his vague acquaintances playing music with instruments,” who made their live debut in NYC nearly a year ago, have signed with Fat Possum and are currently working on a record. To mark the occasion, they’ve just shared a new song, “Subaru Nights” — a lush, dreamy track that is miles away from FWF’s glittery gutter,  and with prevalent slide guitar it’s almost got a Hawaiian feel to it. You can listen to that below.

The live version of Insecure Men is ever-morphing, ranging from five to 11 members, though usually featuring Saul’s schoolmate Ben Romans-Hopcraft. At their performance at Catskills fest Meltasia over the weekend, they numbered around half a dozen. They play NYC on Wednesday (9/13) at Baby’s All Right with Roya and a solo set from R. Jakob Bovden of Night Beats. Tickets are on sale.

Insecure Men have show in the UK and Europe in October and November. All dates are listed below.
