'Interview' editors trying to revive the magazine

Interview filed for bankruptcy last month and announced it was shutting down, but a few of the editors are trying to revive the magazine which was founded by Andy Warhol in 1969. Fashion Week Daily published a memo from Interview publisher Jason Nikic, president Kelly Brant, Editor-in-Chief Nick Haramis, and Creative Director Mel Ottenberg that states they have formed a new company, Crystal Ball Media, and are in the process of acquiring the intellectual property of the magazine. They hope to be back up and running for the September issue of Interview. “We are equally committed to bringing the same set of creativity, acumen, and devotion to the business of Warhol’s legacy as we have always brought to the editorial side.” Nikic writes. “Interview is dead. Long live Interview.” Stay tuned.
