Iron Maiden frontman, brewer, fencer, pilot and more, Bruce Dickinson will publish his memoirs, titled What Does This Button Do?: An Autobiography, on October 19 via HarperNonFiction:

For the first time ever, Bruce shares his recollections of childhood and school days, joining Maiden, his solo career, aviation, his recent tongue cancer and much more. In typical Bruce style, this book was written exhaustively in longhand, filling seven A4 notebooks, which he has been working on meticulously whilst out on the road during The Book Of Souls World Tour.

You can read an excerpt from the book here and watch a promotional video for the book below.

Bruce will be going on a book tour to promote it, with the lion's share of the events being in the NYC area, including two in NYC proper on Halloween: Hudson Book Society at noon (tickets) and a WORD Bookstore presented event at Saint Vitus at 7:30 PM (tickets). He'll also be at Gramercy Theatre on November 3, which is presented by The Strand (tickets). At all of those events there will be readings, a Q&A and book signing opportunities, and tickets come with a copy of the book. There are also events in Huntington, NY and Ridgewood, NJ, as well as West Coast events in Los Angeles and the Bay Area -- all dates are listed below.
