Nas debuted 'NASIR' in Queensbridge (listen)

UPDATE 4: If you missed it, Nas held the listening party for his new Kanye West-produced album NASIR near Queensbridge Park, under the Queensboro bridge, and the stream has been archived. You can rewatch/listen here:

Rumors about the party’s location started circulating after Rap Radar founder Elliott Wilson tweeted that an “album listening event” would be happening tonight in Queens, and then again when the above picture started circulating. The picture, posted by Instagram user @gqeverything, indicated that the party may be in the Queensbridge housing projects where Nas grew up. As you can see, it’s an MTA Disruption of Service flyer that says “Kanye West & Nas Concert” on it with a location tag of Queensbridge (this was originally on @gqeverything’s Instagram stories).

UPDATE: The MTA’s Service Status page also noted that the Q102 and Q103 buses, references on the sign above, are indeed being rerouted tonight:

Due to a local event, buses run via 21 St making corresponding stops.

UPDATE 2: Long Island City gallery and studio New York Minded tweeted that the listening party is in their “backyard” at 41-98 Vernon Blvd.

UPDATE 3: The listening party for Nas’s NASIR begins streaming at 9 PM EST.

There was listening party for Kid Cudi’s new Kanye West-produced LP last Thursday, as well as a “merch pop up bonfire” at North Williamsburg Farms the same night.
