It’s National Voter Registration Day ++ musicians, comedians & more weigh in on Trump-Clinton debate
As you surely know, the U.S Presidential Election is less than two months away. Today is National Voter Registration Day, and Head Count, which merges music and activism, has gotten a bunch of musicians to help get the word out via Twitter, including The National (see above), Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Okkervil River, John Oates, Quincy Jones, Pearl Jam, Andrew Bird, Leon Bridges and more. Find out how to register where you live.
Speaking of Twitter, like a whole lot of people, plenty of musicians (and comedians and filmmakers and your cousin) weighed in on last night's debate between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton.
