IWIVI Fest showcasing low-bit music and art in NYC

Nullsleep at Blip Fest 2011 (more by Leia Jospe)
Nullsleep

The people who put on Blip Fest have announced a new festival called IWIVI Fest (pronounced low-level), to take place on August 22-23 at Villain in Williamsburg. The lineup includes Nullsleep, Bit Shifter, Meneo, Covox, IAYD and many more. The artists are meant to highlight lo-bit music, the kind many associate with ’80s video game music, and is much in the sprit of Blip Fest. It will also include visual performances from Batsly Adams, Raquel Meyers, Chromacle and others, and exhibitions from artists Phillip Stearns, Daniel Temkin, Mark Kleeb, and Cosmic Morning, as well as an interactive arcade. Tickets, which are $35 per day or $60 for a two-day pass, are on sale now.

Check out the full lineup of performances and exhibitions below.
