Jacuzzi Boys opening for Dandy Warhols, playing 'Bodega?' premiere @ Vitus w/ "secret headliner"

Florida party rockers Jacuzzi Boys will be in NYC later this month for three shows, the first of which is opening for Portland, OR’s The Dandy Warhols at Highline Ballroom on February 23 (tickets).

Then they play February 24 at Saint Vitus which is a screening party for David Leigh Abts‘ Bodega? documentary short. The film, which is about NYC bodegas, will screen and there’s a “secret headliner” that the flyer for the show says is “a very special act from the Northwest.”  While we don’t know for certain who that guest is, Courtney Taylor-Taylor — the frontman for Northwest alt-rockers The Dandy Warhols — wrote the foreword to Abts’ book Mother’s Day at the Orphanage, and the trailer for the film (which you can watch below) features “The Dandy Warhols TV Theme Song” and Taylor-Taylor makes a brief appearance. In addition to the secret guest and Jacuzzi Boys, other announced special guests for this show include original Damned drummer Rat Scabies, Chris Constantinou (Adam Ant’s band), David Mudie (Courtney Barnett’s drummer), Bob Harrow (Immigrant Union), Kalen Lister (Death by Piano), Brian Buto (Steady State) and Cory Wade (former America’s Next Top Model co-host). Tickets are on sale and the flyer for the show is below..

The third Jacuzzi Boys show is February 25 at Baby’s All Right with The Muckers and Gnarcissists (tickets).
