Jamila Woods opening Raphael Saadiq's 2020 tour

Jamila Woods continues to be on a roll since releasing her excellent new album LEGACY! LEGACY!. First she went on a headlining tour, and then opened part of her Chicago forebear Common’s tour (including The Apollo earlier this month), and now she’s set to open for another person who likely influenced her, Raphael Saadiq, who returned this year with his first album in eight years, Jimmy Lee.

She’s opening all dates of Raphael’s 2020 tour, including the NYC show happening February 13 at Terminal 5 (tickets) and the Newark show happening Valentine’s Day (2/14) at NJPAC, the latter of which is a killer triple bill that also includes Thundercat (tickets).

Before the tour with Raphael, Jamila is doing a Europe/UK tour surrounding her appearance at Pitchfork Paris. All dates for both tours are listed, with a video from Jamila’s new album and the Kendrick Lamar collab from Raphael’s new album, below.
