Outsider cult musician Jandek has been releasing records through his own Corwood Industries label since 1978. Much of that time he was an enigma who had never been seen in the wild, but following documentary Jandek on Corwood, he actually came out of seclusion, a bit, and in 2004 began playing shows.

It's been six years since Jandek (real name Sterling Richard Smith who is now 72) has performed in NYC, but he'll play Trans-Pecos on July 22. Tickets are on sale now.

Jandek's only other upcoming live date is at Miami Psych Fest which happens June 22 & 23 at Floyd & The Ground, and also features sets from Sugar Candy Mountain, Kool Keith, Uranium Club, Container, and tons more.
