Jane's Addiction had a busy 1991, releasing the massively successful Ritual De Lo Habitual and launching a little traveling festival called Lollapalooza. They've been on a Ritual anniversary tour this year, but will also be celebrating 25 years of Lolla with a special all-day show happening September 23 at the Irvine Meadows Ampitheatre with a lineup that reads like it coulda happened in 1995, with Garbage, The Cult, Violent FemmesHouse of Pain, headliners Jane's and... no EDM. You can snag tickets for this beast starting with a LiveNation and Citi presale Thursday (8/18) at 10 AM Pacific and the general on-sale   Friday (8/19) at 10 AM.

All of the supporting acts are varying degrees of busy. Garbage released a new album and just played Central Park SummerStage as part of their tour. Violent Femmes just played Prospect Park and announced a fall tour that includes three NYC-area dates. The Cult have been playing shows and finding time to talk to us. And House of Pain are still only recently re-reunited (again).

White reveling in all this nostalgia, watch some footage from that first year of Lollapalooza below.
