Janet Jackson releasing first new album in seven years, touring -- dates include Barclays and Prudential Center

Janet Jackson has a new album on the way — her first in seven years — which she’ll release though her own just-launched Rhythm Nation Records. Details on the album are still TBA but first single “No Sleeep” is out now and was written with her longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. You can stream it below.

Jackson will launch her “Unbreakable” tour in August and she’s just added two NYC-area shows for early 2016: Newark’s Prudential Center on February 17 and Barclays Center on February 22. Tickets for both those shows go on sale July 20 at 10 AM. There are a bunch of presales: AmEx and Janet Jackson album preorder presales on Tuesday (7/14) at 10 AM, and then Live Nation and internet presales on Friday (7/17) at 10 AM.
