Japandroids announce 2017 tour with Craig Finn, playing Terminal 5
Japandroids recently revealed that their highly-anticipated third album Near to the Wild Heart of Life would be out on January 27 via ANTI- and released the killer title track, which is keeping hopes very high for the album. Now, like they said they would at a recent intimate Brooklyn show, they’ve announced a lengthy 2017 tour.
The tour brings them back to NYC for a much larger show on February 23 at Terminal 5. That show and all other North American dates will be opened by Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn & the Uptown Controllers, which is of course a great fit. Tickets for T5 go on sale Friday (11/11) at noon. All dates are listed below.
Craig’s backing band for this tour is Arun Bali (guitar), Will Berman (bass) and Falcon Valdez (drums), the same band he had in 2015 and 2016.
