Japanese Breakfast announces livestream of “new songs and special covers”
Like many bands, Japanese Breakfast have been forced to postpone shows due to the coronavirus pandemic, including an NYC date with Bright Eyes and Lucy Dacus that is now scheduled for 2021. Now there's a way for you to see Japanese Breakfast much sooner, though: they've announced a livestreamed show on Thursday, May 14 at 7 PM ET. Tickets are on sale now, and here's what Michelle Zauner has to say about the show:
Hi everyone.
I wanted to put together a live stream of some new songs and special covers to help support my crew while we are unable to tour, which is to say, unable to work and earn income. I've also commissioned a special design (more on that later) that features my band family, Craig, Deven, Peter, Harry & Rachel, to help raise some money to make up for many months of touring we've had to cancel. I hope you will join me May 14 at 7pm EDT. xoxo Michelle
