The inaugural New American Festival, a "celebration of diversity and immigrant contributions to culture, in the arts, food, film, comedy, fashion, and more," happens September 14 & 15 at the NeueHouse in New York City. Saturday (9/14) events include a live performance by Japanese Breakfast, Q&As and keynotes with Hasan Minhaj, sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Padma Lakshmi, and more; while Sunday (9/15) events include stand-up comedy with Ronny Chieng, Aparna Nancherla, a comedy panel Q&A with SNL writer/performer Bowen Yang and Jaboukie Young-White, and more.
