Japanther releasing new album (download an MP3), playing Crossing Brooklyn Ferry

Long-running, highly-prolific artrockers Japanther will release Eat Like Lisa Act Like Bart on May 21 via Recess Records. You can download the sneery, poppy first single, “Stolen Flowers” above.

The band’s only upcoming date is as part of next weekend’s Crossing Brooklyn Ferry festival. They’ll play on Saturday, April 27 at the BAMcafe. That night also features TV on the Radio, Phosphorescent, Here We Go Magic and more. Tickets are still available.
