Jarboe releasing new LP (listen to excerpts), expands tour

Former Swans member and prolific solo artist and collaborator Jarboe will release new album, The Cut of the Warrior, on December 14 via Translation Loss. The record contains four new songs as well as three alternate mixes and collaborations with Byla (featuring members of Gorguts, Dysrhythmia), End Christian (Brutal Truth, dälek) and Kris Force (Amber Asylum). Jarboe’s tour with Father Murphy kicks off at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on November 25 with Moor Mother (tickets). Since our last post, more dates have been added, and she’ll play San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and New Orleans. All dates are listed below.

Jarboe also features on Henry Derek Ellis’ new LP.
