Sigur Rós are hosting a festival called Norður Og Niður which will happen December 27 - 30 in Reykjavík, Iceland. The festival will mark the band's first Icelandic shows in five years, and the initial lineup includes Jarvis Cocker, Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine, Stars of the Lid, Juliana Barwick, Dan Deacon, plus Icelandic acts Hugar, JFDR, and a collaborative set between Sin Fang (Seabear), Sóley and Örvar Smárason (múm).

Tickets for the Sigur Ros performances are on sale now and four-day passes go on sale Septmber 28. There are travel packages available too. The name of the festival translates to "go North and go down," though it also means "everything’s going to hell."

Sigur Ros played Forest Hills Stadium back in June.
