Jason Anderson has been releasing one "lost" project a month this year, as he gears up for his next proper album. August was So Long and September will be Cold Cold Rain. The first single/title track off of that is out now, and it's a gorgeous, melancholic folk song that's perfect for the changing season. "'Cold Cold Rain' is an autumn hymn of sorts, both the song and accompanying album being an exploration of the competing and complementary senses of beginning and ending that this season often seems to wistfully evoke," Jason says. Jason also announced a headlining Brooklyn show happening September 17 at Union Pool with Corey Laitman (tickets). His only other upcoming date at the moment is opening for Picastro in Toronto in November.
