Jay Z releasing new album '4:44' next week
Earlier this year, it looked like new music was stirring in the world of Jay Z, and now more details are here. Having just welcomed twins into the world with Beyonce, Jay announced that his new album will be called 4:44, and it’s due out next week (6/30), the same day a movie of the same name premieres on TIDAL. (Sounds familiar.) Watch a trailer for the album, featuring a clip of new music, below.
Last week, Jay became the first rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Jay has upcoming festival appearances this year, including day one of NYC’s The Meadows, Philly’s Made In America, and Austin’s ACL.
