Jeff Bridges & the Abiders touring, 3 NYC-area shows (dates)
Jeff Bridges won an Oscar for his portrayal of a washed-up country singer in 2009’s Crazy Heart. Having played music most of his life, Bridges released his first album in 2000 and his most recent was 2011’s self-titled, produced by T-Bone Burnett (who did the music for Crazy Heart). You can stream it at a if you please. Jeff and his band, The Abiders (hey, the dude knows his audience!), will be heading out on tour this summer. Dates include three NYC-area shows: Huntington, NY’s Paramount Theatre on August 29, then Montclair, NJ’s Wellmont Theatre on August 30 and City Winery on September 2.
The City Winery show has a few tickets left. Tickets to the Paramount go on sale Wednesday (6/11) at 10 AM, and Wellmont will be available through Ticketmaster soon.
Jeff’s daughter Jessie is opening at some of the shows (like the Paramount). All tour dates are listed below…
