Jeff Parker celebrated ‘Suite for Max Brown’ in Chicago (pics)
Jazz bandleader and Tortoise member Jeff Parker is riding high off the release of this year's great Suite for Max Brown (out now on International Anthem/Nonesuch) and the Chicagoan has been playing shows in support of it including early and late hometown shows at specialty record shop Dorian's last night (3/8). We caught the early show, and pictures of that one are in the gallery above.
Jeff plays two more shows at Dorian's tonight (3/9) (early show sold out, late show on sale), and he's also got a NYC show at Le Poisson Rouge (3/11) this week (tickets). All remaining dates are listed, with a stream of the new album, below.
