Live From Our Living Rooms

Jeff Rosenstock, Kimya Dawson, Jeremy Enigk & more playing virtual benefit for WA's DIY scene

All-ages Seattle music and arts venue The Vera Project and Artist Home are presenting a livestreamed benefit show, “Live From Our Living Rooms,” on April 24. Proceeds go to benefit Washington’s DIY community, and here’s more from organizers on the broadcast:

Join The Vera Project & Artist Home on April 24th for Live from our Living Rooms, a virtual benefit concert to support Washington’s DIY Community. Featuring a telethon-style mix of music, art, educational workshops, and guest speakers, 100% of proceeds will go toward sustaining young people and community centers disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, with a special focus on those that do not qualify for formal institutional support.

Artists performing on the stream include Jeff Rosenstock, Kimya Dawson, Joyce Manor (solo), Jeremy Enigk, Sidekicks (solo), Retirement Party, Lisa Prank, Whitney Ballen, Slingshot Dakota, and more. They also have more artists still to be announced, and are promising “arts workshops, exclusive looks into vital DIY spaces, and surprise special guest speakers.”

Stay tuned for information on when the stream starts and where you can watch. UPDATE: You can stream “Live From Our Living Rooms” starting at 10 PM ET on The Vera Project’s Instagram.
