Jeffrey Lewis shares animated video for "Sad Screaming Old Man," playing Lou Reed covers show & other tour dates

Jeffrey Lewis just released a video for “Sad Screaming Old Man,” a song from last year’s Manhattan. The stop-motion animated video, made by by Nicholas Clark/Minnowland, is a literal visualization of the song’s lyrics about one of Jeffrey’s neighbors and the desire for a decent night’s sleep. Watch that below.

As usual, Jeffrey Lewis has no shortage of upcoming shows, including a few in NYC. On March 2 at Sidewalk Cafe he’ll be celebrating Lou Reed’s birthday with a cover set of Lou’s songs (11 PM, no cover but two-item minimum); then he’ll play a Doctors Without Borders benefit happening at Pianos on March 15 with David Rovics, White Collar Crime, Mobile Steam Unit, DK and the Joy Machine, and Sparrow (tickets).

You can also check out some of his comics as he’ll have a table at the MoCCA Arts Fest which happens April 2 & 3 at Metropolitan West. He’s also got upcoming shows in Philadelphia, CT, NJ and more. All dates are listed below.
