NYC will be invaded by Savages starting next week, sticking around for three weeks and nine shows total at venues Baby's All Right, Mercury Lounge and Saint Vitus. Those are all sold out, but singer Jehnny Beth and frequent collaborator (and Pop Noire label co-runner) Johnny Hostile will be performing as John + Jehn, doing a live electronic set at Baby's All Right on January 18. For a taste of what to expect, check out live video of John + Jehn performing "Pricks" in Brussels, below.

That's part of a show being billed as the "DFA Winter Workout" that also features a modular synth set by Gavin Russom, plus DJ sets from Nancy Whang, Juan Maclean, Sinkane, Holy Ghost!, Museum of Love, and Kris DFA. Tickets are on sale now. And if that sounds like a lot of party for a Sunday, MLK Day is the next day (1/19) and some of you may have the day off.
