Jenny Lewis' band NAF (Nice As Fuck) share "Door" video

Jenny Lewis/Erika Forster/Tennessee Thomas supergroup NAF (aka Nice As Fuck) recently released their excellent self-titled debut album and now they’ve shared the video for lead single, “Door.”

The video pays homage to East Village shop The Deep End run by band member Tennessee Thomas, which closes this weekend. The shop has played a large role in the story of NAF, from being the place where they wrote their album to hosting one of their first performances. The video also features some familiar faces like The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr. and The Moldy Peaches’ Adam Green.

In a statement given via Noisey, the band said:

“Here’s the video for ‘Door’ filmed in the Deep End Club, where the songs were written, surrounded by members of our activated community. The Deep End Club closes its ‘Door’ this weekend after three years, but it’s message of Peace & Love will continue on in many forms.”

Watch the video below.

As mentioned, NAF have three NYC shows coming up. There’s a sold-out Rough Trade show on Sunday (7/31), and two larger Bowery Ballroom shows the next night (8/1). The early show is sold out, but tickets for the late show are still available. The two Bowery Ballroom shows are with Alix Brown, who appears in the new video. No other dates announced at the moment.
