Brooklyn rap vet Jeru the Damaja hasn't released a new album in over a decade and he hasn't released new music since 2014's The Hammer EP, but he remains active, performing live every now and then and he contributed to his longtime associates Gang Starr's first album in 16 years last year. This year, he's set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his classic, DJ Premier-produced 1994 debut album, The Sun Rises in the East, at a one-night-only hometown show on Sunday, February 16 at Sony Hall. DJs Chuck Chillout and J-Ronin will be on hand too. Tickets are on sale now.
