Jim Jarmusch directed Cat Power's new "A Pair Of Brown Eyes" video (watch)

Indie film icon Jim Jarmusch has directed a video for Cat Power‘s “A Pair of Brown Eyes” from her new Covers album. Shot through hazy multiple exposures as Chan Marshall performs in a white studio, the video swirls like her version of the The Pogues song.

“As someone who deeply loves Cat Power’s music, getting to collaborate with Chan on this video was like a dream come true,” says Jarmusch. “She’s so inspiring to me, of course as an artist, but she’s also just such an extraordinary person.” Watch the video below.

Cat Power’s North American tour is underway now. She played Brooklyn Steel earlier this week and hits NJ’s White Eagle Hall on April 30. All dates are listed below.
