John Prine is currently in critical care after being infected, along with his wife, by COVID-19 and there’s been an outpouring of love from fellow artists and fans, sending him love and positive vibes ever since the news was revealed. As Stereogum point out, fellow folk icon Joan Baez has shared a new video of her at home playing Prine’s “Hello in There,” which she recorded on her 1975 album Diamonds & Rust. Joan says “Hello in There” is “one of the most-requested songs in my repertoire for over 40 years so let me sing it to you, along with my best wishes and prayers.” We echo that sentiment and you can watch that below.
