Joanna Gruesome at BV-CMJ 2013 (more by Amanda Hatfield)

We already knew punky UK indie pop band Joanna Gruesome were coming over to the US for LA's FYF Fest and a free Seaport Music Festival show in NYC on August 29 with Big Ups. Since we last spoke, they've expanded their tour which now also includes a much smaller NYC show happening August 26 at Shea Stadium with a STACKED lineup of Perfect Pussy, Potty Mouth and the Joan of Arc-related The Love of Everything. (It wasn't long ago that Perfect Pussy sold out two shows on their own around that size.) Tickets for what should be a packed, sweaty, and all-around very fun bill, are on sale now. All dates (including others with that same lineup) are listed below.

In related news, JG guitarist Owen Williams also plays in the band Grubs who recently released a new single, "Dec. 15 / Gym Shame." If you like Joanna Gruesome or other likeminded British indie pop bands, you'll probably dig this too. You can stream both tracks below.
