Legendary folk singer John Prine has been playing shows this year, and stopped by NYC on Friday (4/8) for a show at Kings Theatre. He opened with a cover of Merle Haggard's "Ramblin' Fever" to honor the country music icon who sadly passed away days earlier. The rest of his set hit points from all over his career, including some of his most famous songs like "Sam Stone" and "Hello in There." For his encore, opener Iris DeMent and her band came out, along with Greg Trooper.
