Josh Onstott of Other Lives formed New Mystics (listen)
Josh Onstott is one third of art rock trio Other Lives and he recently started a side project, New Mystics. Last year, he released his debut single “Sparrows” and we’re premiering his second single, “Modern.” If you dig Other Lives, there’s a good chance you’ll dig this too. It’s not exactly like that band, but it’s artful and gorgeously arranged like Other Lives tend to be. On starting this new project, Josh tells us, “I’ve made a lot a music in my life, I’ve created and toured with some of the greatest bands in the world… But I’m losing my fucking mind and I want to live another life.”
