Julien Baker is on tour now, having hit NYC for a sold-out show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday (9/24). Like a lot of Julien Baker shows, the room was totally packed for her set and even with her bare-bones setup (just her voice and a clean electric guitar), you could've heard a pin drop the entire set.

Direct support came from Allison Crutchfield and the Fizz. Allison, who last played NYC as a member of the reunited PS Eliot, recently signed to Merge as a solo artist, and this was her first full-band show with the Fizz. Radiator Hospital singer Sam Cook-Parrott (who she collaborates with a lot) was in the band, and they sounded great. (Speaking of, you can catch Radiator Hospital in NYC with Crying soon.)

Opening the show was Philly newcomer Grayling, which made for a very well-matched triple bill. Pictures of all three acts are in the gallery above.
