Julien Baker cancels shows due to "ongoing medical issues"

Julien Baker was scheduled to spend this August playing some festivals in Europe, including Oya and Way Out West, but she’s unfortunately cancelled all of those dates for medical reasons. A statement posted by Oya, Way Out West, and Haldern Pop Fest reads, “due to ongoing medical issues, Julien Baker will be cancelling all currently planned live shows.”

Ahead of her overseas tour, Julien was to perform a show at Austin, TX’s Paramount Theater on July 31 with her boygenius bandmate Lucy Dacus, which was also cancelled because of “unforeseen medical circumstances.” In addition, earlier this year, Julien also cancelled part of her February tour in Australia, New Zealand and Japan because of “unforseen personal matters.”

Julien hasn’t currently released a statement of her own about the cancellations. We hope she gets better soon!
