Junior Boys share new video, touring, DJing Brooklyn's Variance Festival
Earlier this year Junior Boys released their very good album of subtly danceable pop, Big Black Coat, and today they put out a video for its song “No One’s Business.” It was directed by Simon Mercer with art design by Ashley Feldman, and it features a rather strange scene with sped-up footage. Junior Boys also announced another run of tour dates. They don’t have a live show in NYC announced at the moment (they played Webster Hall in March), but they’ll DJ the Variance Festival in Brooklyn on August 6 on undisclosed grounds off the Jefferson L train stop. There’s also DJ sets from Awesome Tapes From Africa and Occupy the Disco, and live music from Oberhofer, Conrad Clifton and Yaeji. Tickets are on sale now.
