One of our favorite new(ish) artists of 2017, Jay Som, is preparing to release a collaborative EP with Los Angeles singer-songwriter Justus Proffit via Polyvinyl. We’ve heard the laid back, melancholy title track from Nothing’s Changed, and now the pair are sharing a second song, “Invisible Friends,” before the EP’s release on Friday (9/28). The Elliott Smith comparisons continue on this track, but with fuller, more rocking instrumentation. Listen below.

Jay and Justus have announced a joint tour together in support of the new EP, where they’ll be backed by a full five-piece band. The tour includes a stop at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on December 7. Tickets go on sale Friday (9/28) at 10 AM. See all of Jay and Justus’ tour dates together below.
